More than a delight

It goes without saying that this book is a charming delight to page through and read the short stories that accompany each adorable critter. I found it to be much more than a "cute Face". I enjoy learning and trying new things. Although I have not begun to knit I found it interesting to read through the instructions. I feel there is a great deal to learn from these critters. Techniques that I have not much or any experience attempting. I look forward to getting to the knitting. My delay has all to do with the yarn I want to use for Agi, my first choice. A friend had given me a fleece from a New Mexico Sheep, where I live. I began the process of preparing the fleece for spinning. My first experience with my supported spindle was giving me a very soft and fuzzy yarn. I was not so sure about this result. That is until I saw Agi. I knew my questionable yarn was perfect. So, Ive been spinning and closing in on plying so I can begin this adorable creature. My mind is also racing ahead to Horacio, Henri and Mira.
This is my first endeavor in the critter realm of knitting And am anxious to see results.Thank you for offering such a delightful way to keep on learning and knitting for fun.
