In collaboration with Emily Estrada of FibreTown fame, The Woolly Thistle is proud to bring you a selection of her hand-woven and hand botanical-dyed Project Bags. Emily is the fun and prolific knitter and sewist host of the FibreTown podcast on Youtube. We hope you love her bags!
Made with hand-crafted elements including panels of either hand-woven yarn or botanical-dyed floral prints, these bags are both useful, unique and beautiful. Emily created all elements of these bags herself.
Fully lined, they measure approximately 12 x 10 inches and have a drawstring closure. Each bag can hold 2, 100g balls of West Yorkshire Spinners Signature 4ply yarn.
The woven bags are made with non-superwash yarn. The botanical printing is on wool felt and may include the following plants: goldenrod, marigold, coreopsis, crape myrtle, phlox, and clematis.
The outer fabric is 100% yarn dyed linen from a company that sources responsibly made fabrics. The lining is sewn out of Osnaburg muslin.
Please note that each bag panel is unique. All are equally lovely and the bag you receive will be selected randomly from those available.
Care instructions: hand wash in cold water with gentle detergent, lay flat to dry.
Special Offer: While stock lasts get your bag and 2 balls of West Yorkshire Spinners Candy Cane for a special price of $58.95! (or choose any WYS Signature 4ply yarn of your choice. Include a note in the comments section and we will accommodate your request provided we have it in stock.)
Please also note that every effort is made to represent true colors but keep in mind that monitor settings vary and may look slightly different.
