This fine Welsh Leicester Longwool yarn comes from Glynelwyn, a smallholding set in a quiet rural location midway between Carmarthen and Cardigan and close to the Pembrokeshire border with views of the Preseli Hills.
There you will find the the Colbournes spending their retirement raising pedigree sheep, pigs and goats on their farm where they aim is to live a self-sufficient life. Below is Mandy Colbourne and her sheep dog, Pip.
Just look at this yarn shining in the Welsh sunlight:
The fleeces come from their Leicester Longwool lambs Daisy and Della and have been spun in the Scottish borders at The Border Mill. This lustrous, silky yarn is a natural buttery cream color which you might chose to dye, or leave as is, in all it's natural glory. A very limited supply is now available.
